Prof David Mullineaux
Professor in Sports Science with a remit to shape the research agenda of the University of Lincoln’s rapidly-emerging School of Sport and Exercise Science. Has made several transitions between academia and industry in the UK and USA gaining experience of teaching, consulting and researching in biomechanics and research methods.
Dr Sandy Willmott
Joined the School of Sport and Exercise Science as a Senior Lecturer in Sport Science in September 2007. Previously spent nearly ten years as a member of the Biomechanics Laboratory at Indiana University, working on projects in a range of areas that included hockey, high jumping and swimming. Received a PhD in sports biomechanics from Indiana University in 2010 for a dissertation on the dynamics of the stick motion during the hockey hit. Began research career in the field of animal biomechanics and was awarded a PhD in insect flight mechanics by the University of Cambridge in 1996.
Daniel Bishop
Following completion of an undergraduate degree in Sports Science through Nottingham Trent University, worked as a Technician/Research Assistant at Lincoln College whilst studying for a MSc in Sport and Exercise Science (Biomechanics). In 2004 I was appointed as a lecturer within the School and specialise in Biomechanics and Strength and Conditioning. Currently a practicing UKSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach and level 3 Basketball coach, coaching the University Womens team.
